In a statement, the PSP Lisbon Metropolitan Command (Cometlis) explains that the constraints will be applied “only to the extent that is strictly necessary”, in order to “guarantee the safety of the holding” of the two concerts, on Friday and Saturday at night.
Between Friday and Sunday, traffic restrictions are planned on Avenida Machado Santos (in both directions), Avenida Eusébio da Silva Ferreira, Impasse à Rua João de Freitas Branco, Praça Cosme Damião and Avenida Cosme Damião.
On Avenida Machado Santos restrictions will occur between 08:00 on Friday and 02:00 on Sunday, while on Avenida Eusébio Ferreira access to Parque -3 and Avenida do Colégio Militar will be restricted between 14:00 on Friday and 02:00 on Saturday and between 14:00 on Saturday and 02:00 on Sunday.
In the Impasse on Rua João de Freitas Branco, constraints will occur until 00:00 on Sunday.
On Avenida do Colégio Militar (between Rua Galileu Galilei and Avenida Condes de Carnide) traffic will be cut off before the end of each concert, on Friday and Saturday night, and until the public has completely moved away.
On the other hand, the PSP warns of the need to ensure parking reservations on Avenida Hernâni Lopes (direction Laranjeiras – Alto dos Moinhos), Avenida Machado Santos, Impasse à Rua João de Freitas Branco, Praça Cosme Damião and in the parking lot of EMEL located next to the Avenida Lusíada viaduct.
The PSP advises the use of public transport, avoiding taking vehicles to the vicinity of Estádio da Luz.
Concerts by singer Taylor Swift, part of the “The Eras Tour”, will take place at Estádio da Luz on Friday and Saturday, starting at 6:00 pm.
The official opening time of the doors to the public is scheduled for 4:00 pm.
