FORMER Manchester United star Nani has seen his contract with Turkish outfit Adana Demirspor terminated with immediate effect.
It means the winger, 37, is now a free agent and hunting for the 10th club of his career.
Nani joined Demispor from Australian side Melbourne Victory in July of last year.
He played in 34 games including 28 in the league, returning four goals and three assists in all competitions.
Adana, who have stars such as Mario Balotelli on the books, are sitting 11th in the table.
However, the Turkish Super Lig campaign still has two games to go.
A statement released by Nani on the club’s Instagram page said: “I would like to announce that I have amicably terminated my contract with Adana Demispor Kulubu with immediate effect.
“I would like to thank the fans for all their support. I will now consider the next steps to take in my playing career.”
Nani’s senior career began in Portugal with Sporting Lisbon.
From there he joined Man Utd in 2007, where he would win the Champions League, four Premier League titles and two League Cups.

In 2014 Nani was loaned back to Sporting before he had his first spell in Turkey with Fenerbahce after leaving Old Trafford permanently in 2015.
A year later he joined Valencia and then joined Lazio on loan a year after that.
In 2018 he transferred back to Sporting Lisbon but by February had left to join Major League Soccer outfit Orlando City.
Nani remained in the USA until January 2022 when he joined Venezia in Italy.
His stay there was short lived as he went to Australia with Melbourne Victory, where he stayed for one season before ending up at Adana Demispor.
Nani’s illustrious career has also seen him crowned a European Champion with Portugal in 2016.
Overall his career has landed him 17 trophies, 12 of which came with Man Utd.
He has scored 127 goals with 146 assists in 606 club career games, while also earning 112 Portugal caps with 23 goals.
In March, fans were convinced Nani was 18 again as he showed off his ripped abs.

“If United win the FA Cup, he could stay. But, for me, changes are needed and United need to get it done sooner than later.”

“I don’t see how Erik ten Hag stays. It’s just performance after performance.”
Gary Neville – Stay if he wins the FA Cup
“To sack a manager who’s won two trophies in his first two seasons at the club I think would be extreme.”

“I don’t see it as clearly but they need changes from the players but they need changes from him as well.”
Alan Shearer – Sacked
“I believe the future of the Man Utd manager is already determined. Even if they win the FA Cup I think he’s gone.”
